Security Expert

Adex Personnel is looking for a Security Expert for one of its business partners, a company specialized in providing technological solutions to businesses. The position can be based in Boucherville, Quebec City, Sherbrooke, Victoriaville, Trois-Rivières (at the candidate's preference).
In this position, you will actively contribute to the protection of the company's applications and data as well as those of its clients, in close collaboration with the team responsible for its data centers.

Responsibilities :
- Participate in safety committee meetings;
- Participate with the safety committee in the analysis and design of innovative technological solutions for safety;
- Support the managers in the realization of the mandates of the security committee in order to achieve the business objectives;
- Find and deploy the tools required by the security team to conduct audits of the company's and its clients' environments;
- Audit hosted infrastructures and corporate environments for security and issue recommendations;
- Implement security recommendations;
- Apply IT security procedures/standards and document solutions;
- Contribute to the implementation of patches regarding potential security vulnerabilities;
- Analyze cybersecurity bulletins and recommend patches to be implemented;
- Put in place adapted security methods and tools (access card, backup system, etc.) while accompanying their implementation with users;
- Ensure the integrity, confidentiality and security of data;
- Ensure that the infrastructures are well monitored and preserve the coherence of the system with the other hosted systems
- Ensure compliance of backups, backup testing and recovery testing
- Train and work collaboratively with all members of the network, security and infrastructure team;

Requirements:
- AEC, DEC or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology / Networking or in a discipline deemed relevant and/or relevant experience;
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience in the same type of position;
- Excellent knowledge of computer security;
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server, Active directory, Microsoft Exchange, SQL;
- Excellent knowledge of networks (switches, routers, firewalls, etc.);
- Excellent knowledge of virtualization with VMWare and Hyper-V tools;
- Excellent knowledge of backup solutions (Veeam, AppAssure);
- Very good knowledge of infrastructure (SAN);
- Very good knowledge of Linux/Unix;
- Experience in data center operations;
- Knowledge in telecommunication;
- Good command of English and French, written and spoken;
- Security certification an asset;
- Knowledge of the ISO 27001 standard is an asset;
