Functional Analyst (M/F)

Adex Personnel is looking for a Functional Analyst (M/F) on behalf of one of its partners, a recognized leader in technological transformation. 

In this position, you will be working on a client project within the maritime sector over a period of one (1) year with possibility of renewal, in Quebec City. 

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the implementation of a new Finance ERP.
  • Review, plan and improve the company's financial business processes (Source to Pay, Order to Cash, Payroll, Acquire to Retire, Project Accounting, Record to Report, Plan to Perform).
  • Gather and manage HR and Payroll project requirements for the program.
  • Organize and facilitate workshops, interviews, and meetings, taking into account the impact of organizational change.
  • Map business processes and related roles.
  • Gather and document business requirements from internal and external partners (Requirements Traceability Matrix, Users Stories, Use Case, etc.).
  • Participate in process analysis delivery sprints and product backlog writing.
  • Facilitate communication between stakeholders (Business, I&T, Customers, etc.).
  • Transform business requirements into business intelligence solutions.
  • Accompany EMS and POs.

Requirements: 

  • Have a college diploma (DEC) in the field of computer science.
  • Have a bachelor's degree in computer science or a relevant discipline.
  • Have a minimum of eight (8) years of expertise in the IT field.
  • Have a minimum of five (5) years of experience as a business analyst in Finance (financial processes, budget, planning, ERP).
  • Knowledge of one or more business analysis frameworks including BABOK or other.
  • Ability to produce diagrams and documentation in French and English.
  • Knowledge of stakeholder management.
  • Demonstrate business level thinking skills.
  • Have knowledge of BPMN.
  • Workday Pro Financial certification is an asset.
  • Workday Reccord to Report certification is an asset.
  • Have knowledge of writing business processes, use cases, or backlogs.
  • Have participated in ERP integration projects.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of facilitating workshops at an executive level.
  • Have knowledge of reverse engineering requirements.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of requirement gathering and associated document management.
  • Demonstrate bilingualism in French and English, both written and oral (contact with customers, suppliers and English-speaking colleagues).
