Information Technology Specialist (M/F)

Adex Personnel is looking for an Information Technology Specialist (M/F) on behalf of one of its partners, a recognized leader in technological transformation. 

In this position, you will be working on a client project within the industrial sector over a period of six (6) months with possibility of renewal, in the city of Repentigny. 

Responsibilities: 

• Install and configure workstations and multiple devices for the employer's different sites.
• Participate in the deployment of Windows 10 version 21H2.
• Ensure the replacement of computers that do not support Windows 11.
• Replace end-of-life equipment.
• Maintain inventory in the company's software.
• Install and configure office and/or other software on workstations and perform the tests required to ensure its proper functioning.
• Participate in preventive maintenance schedule activities and ensure the execution of the work required for the various components (printers, photocopiers, etc.).
• Provide technical support to users by analyzing the nature and complexity of requests and taking the necessary actions following the analysis.
• Document recommended solutions.
• Support users in the use of meeting rooms (videoconferencing, Microsoft Teams, Zoom). 

Requirements: 

• Hold a Diploma of College Studies (DEC) in Computer Science or an Attestation of College Studies (AEC) in Computer Science and accumulate two (2) years of experience.
• Cumulate a minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrate a good knowledge of Windows devices and environment.
• Knowledge of videoconferencing systems is an asset.
• Knowledge of network connectivity is an asset.
• Demonstrate good oral and written communication skills in French and English (Contact with English-speaking customers and suppliers).
• Be able to document tasks, procedures, and implementations.
