Workplace : Laval

Responsibilities:

• Process daily deposits and EFT payments to be entered into the accounting software ;
• Enter payments by cheque and make deposit by scanner or to the bank if necessary;
• Update receivable tracking (Excel);
• Track payment due dates;
• Enter billing data on various customer platforms;
• Issue credit notes according to rebate and/or return programs;
• Work in collaboration with the sales team to resolve problems related to collection activities;

• Collaborate with the Manager to maintain collection goals and overall accounts receivable status;
• Identify/document trends and issues related to late payments and customer deductions.

Requirements :

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced and changing environment;
• Organizational skills and resourcefulness;
• Thoroughness and meticulousness;
• Ability to manage several files simultaneously;
• Ability to adapt to multiple platforms (clients);
• Ability to work in a team.
• DEC in accounting or equivalent experience
• 5 years experience in a similar position
• Fluency in written and spoken French and English
• Experience in the food industry (an asset)
• Intermediate level Excel (an asset)
