L1 IT Technician (M/F)

Adex Personnel is looking for a Level 1 IT Technician (M/F) to join one of its partners, a recognized leader in technological transformation. 

In this position, you will be working on a client project within the financial sector over a period of six (6) months with possibility of renewal, in the city of Montreal. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Ensure the management of inbound problems from users across Canada.
  • Proceed to the distribution of incoming calls to the appropriate authorities.
  • Provide technical support to users across Canada.
  • Ensure functional escalation of incidents and follow-up with users.
  • Maintain the documentation of incidents in the ticketing system.
  • Use remote control tools to resolve issues reported by users.
  • Provide support to users in relation to the company's technology tools. 

Requirements: 

  • Have a college diploma (DEC) in the field of computer science.
  • Have a minimum of two (2) years of expertise as a computer technician.
  • Demonstrate expertise in the use of Service Now or other ticketing systems.
  • Have expertise with Microsoft operating systems (Windows 10 and 11).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in written and spoken French and English (contact with English-speaking customers and suppliers).
  • Demonstrate good communication and customer service skills.
