Adex Personnel is looking for a Senior Engineering Project Manager to join one of its partners, leader established for over 60 years and specializing in the processing and marketing of veal, beef and lamb products

Reporting to the Vice President of Operations, the Senior Engineering Project Manager will manage and implement various projects related to both production operations and construction. He/she will work in close collaboration with the maintenance and production departments to ensure the completion of the various projects.

WORKPLACE: Laval

Responsibilities :

  •  Expansion of factories;
  • Equipment installations to maximise and optimise production including work processes;
  • Installations and designs of new technologies, including mechanical and/or robotic systems;
  • Project design, including plans, budgets and supplier relations;
  • Processes related to occupational health and safety prevention and Committee participation.

Requirements:

  • Relevant technical background in mechanical and industrial engineering;
  • Have worked in the private manufacturing sector;
  • Having managed a small project team;
  • Member of the OIQ is an asset;
  • Leader, collaborator and unifier;
  • Results oriented;
  •  Ability to manage multiple projects in multiple locations at the same time;
  • Knowledge and experience in continuous improvement processes, such as Kaizen, 6 Sigma, etc;
  • Experience in project budget management;
  • Ability to make presentations on capex (ROI) with Gantt charts, etc;
  • Be present on the operations floor;
  • Autonomous and resourceful;
  • Energetic, dynamic and innovative;
  • Bilingual (French, English).
