Factory Foreman

Adex Personnel is looking for a Plant Foreman to join its team.

In this position, you will manage the personnel and activities according to the guidelines set by the supervisor and management

Responsibilities :

Ensure the smooth running of the factory’'s operations in terms of occupational health and safety, productivity and quality, with the specific aim of achieving the set objectives;

Follow the predetermined sequences of operations according to the established priorities, the project schedule, the availability of personnel and equipment and according to the raw materials;

Identify opportunities for improvement and propose and implement the necessary corrective measures;

Define the plant's supply needs and make purchase requisitions if necessary according to the instructions of his supervisor

Personnel management

  • Ensure that all safety rules are applied;
  • Ensure that all employees follow procedures, directives and tasks required of them according to their respective functions;
  • Define staffing needs and participate in the selection of employees with the Human Resources Department;
  • Provide guidance on the integration of new employees and ensure that they are taken care of;
  • Conduct annual performance evaluations;
  • Manage disciplinary measures according to the rules and in collaboration with the Human Resources Department;
  • Identify training needs and participate in the training of employees when required

Requirements

  • 0-2 years of experience
  • Have good leadership/communication/assembly/coaching skills;
  • Good time management and priority setting skills;
  • Have a strong sense of responsibility (reliable, structured);
  • Conscientious (concerned about his/her role, diligent in his/her work).
  • French: Advanced
