The accountant's mission is to ensure the daily financial transactions and the follow-up of the financial performance.

Responsibilities :
- Forecast and control cash flow
- Manage accounts payable and check production
- Process internal payroll for 45 employees in two different companies
- Ensure month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Investigate and resolve any irregularities or inquiries
- Supervise and verify the financial transactions and operations of the company
- Pay QST and salaries
- Produce corporate tax instalments and payments
- Receive payments and account reconciliations
- Manage the collection process and prepare a weekly report on accounts receivable
- Prepare bank deposits
Requirements:
- Five to seven years’ experience in progressive accounting positions including experience as a lead accountant
- A Bachelor of Commerce or equivalent degree
- CPA designation or relevant education and experience, cost accountant is a plus
- Experience processing in-house payroll
- Experience working with a financial ERP system
- Fluently bilingual in French and English
- The ability to work in the Saint-Laurent office four days per week and in the Saint-Thomas office one day per week
- Accumba experience or any other accounting ERP systems
- Work on computer software for Accounting, Acomba; Bill of material, Audit, stock per month
- Understand the industrial side; Analyze suppliers, do payroll
- Analyze numbers.
