Adex Personnel is looking for a software developer for a business partner, a global company in the pharmaceutical industry. The partner is based in Montreal.

As part of the software development team, the developer develops and ensures the smooth operation of custom software applications for the company. You will have the opportunity to manage projects from start to finish. You will be responsible for research, pre-work, tracking, databases and delivering a complete turn-key solution. At the same time, you will learn about the complex and exciting business processes of the pharmaceutical industry.

Responsibilities :

  • Learn, organize, program and create
  • Meet with the various stakeholders of the project to determine the needs.
  • Develop programming code and software modifications using the appropriate languages and tools to provide responsive and innovative solutions and new functionality for complex and/or enterprise-wide specialized systems.
  • Design integrated solutions that may include applications, databases, networks and related systems.
  • Ensure that all stages of the development lifecycle are followed and completed (requirements, change control, testing, confirmation, documentation, etc.).
  • Actively participate in the validation of new and modified systems to ensure compliance with regulatory development guidelines, including structured programming, structured review techniques and prototyping concepts.
  • Design, structure, implement and maintain database systems and programs. Establish and adhere to policies, standards, and procedures to ensure relevance and accessibility of data.
  • Participate in all types of meetings and workgroups to integrate activities, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems and maintain knowledge of new developments and requirements.
  • Collaborate with and provide support to end users for our programs.
  • Resolve bugs and performance issues in the real working environment.
  • Perform or assist in the performance of certain operations as required to maintain operational flow and meet deadlines.
  • Performs other related duties as required.

Requirements:

  • A jack-of-all-trades, you would not be satisfied working on the same lines of code all day.
  • Good knowledge of SQL Server databases and understanding of database fundamentals.
  • Excellent knowledge of object-oriented programming and relational database management systems.
  • Expertise required in : NET, Visual Studio and SQL Server.
  • Good knowledge of ASP.NET, HTML and CSS.
  • Understanding of CRM and ERP concepts.
  • Excellent problem solving skills, ability to learn new technologies.
  • Team player with a customer-focused approach.
  • Creativity, innovation and positive attitude.
  • Excellent communication skills required, fluent English and basic French (oral).
  • 2-5 years: Experience in programming, ability to learn and willingness to work with us.
  • Partial college education or better in Computer Science or related field.
  • Bachelor's degree or better in Computer Science or related field (Preferred)
