Adex Personnel is looking for a Program Manager to join one of its partners, a leader in digital strategy and transformation.

In this position, you will be working on a client project within the finance industry.

Responsibilities:

The GPAP (Wealth Management and Life and Health Insurance) Transformation Program Office is looking for a candidate to take on a transformation and modernization project for the Wealth Management segment. This is a large-scale, high-visibility project under his responsibility. Fluency in English is required. The deliverables require numerous linkages with different teams and suppliers. The projects include a member and customer experience portion, an employee experience portion and a significant technological portion.

For the job site under his/her responsibility:

Organize and lead the work required to:

  • Identify modernization targets
  • Propose a roadmap for the work (architecture-targets, deliveries, other) that will be required to achieve the targets
  • Identify, propose and implement the necessary target architecture initiatives;
  • Identify and propose the appropriate investment blocks (and their sequencing in time);
  • Orchestrate and start the first program deliveries;

Orchestrate and start the first deliveries of the program; All of this aligned with the strategies, execution plans, programs, projects and other initiatives underway at GPAP and the Movement.

Liaise with the site developer:

  • Ensure a clear understanding of the needs being expressed;
  • Communicate regularly to report on the progress of the work;
  • Identify issues and blockages that may require his/her intervention.

For the program :

Work in concert with other site leads to ensure the smooth operation of the program; Accompany/advise the PM Program Director.

  • Lead a multi-disciplinary team to complete the work ;
  • Make the necessary linkages with the relevant business sectors;
  • Carry out the required reporting (including budget tracking);
  • Follow up on staffing needs for the various teams under his/her responsibility.
  • Carry out communication activities within the framework of the project and the program.

Requirements :

  • Demonstrate more than eight (8) years of experience in large-scale project management, in a structured environment with recognized development methodology
  • Demonstrated experience in large-scale transformation programs
  • Demonstrated experience in managing medium to large scale projects: over $5M
  • Experience in application system development and implementation
  • Experience in project management in the field of Asset Management
  • Bilingualism, spoken and written, French and English (essential)
  • Experience in managing an external supplier (asset)
  • Knowledge of Canadian regulatory environments in the area of wealth management (asset)
