Responsibilities :

- Proactively monitor key product and service selection and acquisition metrics including:

o Customer needs by industry and location;

o New tools and services;

o Advanced technologies (embedded and management);

o Environmental and sustainable development concerns;

o Forecasting techniques and tools;

o Strategies for the evolution of the company in terms of offers and markets.

- Optimize the financial performance of the entire fleet of tools and equipment according to regional needs and demand, in collaboration with the Business Development, Procurement and Marketing teams, as well as regional operations;

- Supervise the process of introducing new products into the company in order to improve their success rate in collaboration with the various teams involved;

- Be on the lookout for market trends by participating in discussion forums, industry and trade shows, professional groups, market studies and contacts with suppliers;

- Develop a 5-year strategic plan for the acquisition of rental assets and/or services offered by the company;

- Collaborate with the procurement department to structure the tendering process for equipment and tools;

- Analyze the offers of the various suppliers and make purchasing recommendations based on the company's asset selection principles;

- Identify, obtain and process internal and external data in order to build operational reports and management indicators to increase the efficiency of use and profitability of the company's rental assets.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, civil or industrial) or business administration or related experience;

- Additional training or experience in finance and management would be an asset, e.g. MBA or knowledge of financial management principles;

- 5 to 7 years in a similar position that has allowed the development of a good knowledge of industrial issues, processes and tools;

- Ability to analyze a large amount of data;

- Proficiency with Office 365 suite;

- Developed leadership and collaborative spirit;

- Customer oriented and results driven;

- Sense of innovation, planning and analysis;

- Strong interest in mechanics and electronics and new technologies;

- Able to play an operational management role while having the ability to lead and/or participate in major evolutionary projects.
